Iran TV Network (ITN) was a Canadian absolved Category B Persian language forte channel. It was entirely possessed by Ethnic Channels Group with its name and programming utilized under permit from the American-based TV channel Iran TV Network.

History

In November 2004, Ethnic Channels Group was conceded endorsement from the Canadian Radio-TV and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to dispatch a TV station called Persian/Iranian TV, portrayed as “a public ethnic Category 2 forte programming undertaking gave to giving programming essentially to the Persian-, Azeri-, Kurdish-, Armenian-and Assyrian-talking communities.”[1]

In mid 2010, the channel was renamed Jaam-e-Jam and started including programming from Jaam-e-Jam International in Iran. In May 2015, the channel was renamed ‘Iran TV Network’ indeed because of loss of programming from Jaam-e-Jam.

On August 30, 2013, the CRTC endorsed Ethnic Channels Group’s solicitation to change over Jaam-e-Jam from an authorized Category B claim to fame administration to an excluded Cat. B third language service.[2]

In 2020, both Bell Fibe TV and Telus TV, the main suppliers that conveyed the channel, dropped it from their line-ups, delivering the channel as of now not accessible
